Governance Model
The term Corporate Governance refers to a set of rules and, more generally, the corporate governance system used to manage and control the company.
Leonardo’s Governance model complies with the application criteria and principles provided by the Corporate Governance Code promoted by Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange).
The model aims to maximize shareholder value in addition to monitoring corporate risks and generating greater transparency with respect to the market as well as ensuring the integrity and correctness of decision-making processes.
The specifications of the Code are incorporated in the Regulations of the Board of Directors of the Company.
The text of the Corporate Governance Code is available to the public on Borsa Italiana website (www.borsaitaliana.it).
