Cockpit Simulation technology for Fixed-wing, Rotary-wing and Unmanned Aerial Systems.

Leonardo has developed a suite of hardware/software elements to build specific Cockpit replica for Training Devices with different levels of fidelity.
As the Cockpit is the primary interface for students in a Flight Training Device, Cockpit Simulation is a “key-element”. Leonardo Cockpit Simulation technology permits rapid developments of specific Cockpits starting from existing ready-to use components.

The technology can be used for different platforms including Fixed-wing and Rotary-wing front and rear cabins, targeted to the required level of fidelity.
The building blocks include replicated panels and consoles, replicated displays, replicated flight controls/levels, cabin structure and flight compartments, cabin lights, Input/Output interface modules and software, roll-in/roll-out platforms, G-seat, G-suit and Control Loading systems.
