The AW169 features a unique-in-class Cabin Management System, allowing passengers to access and play the favourite media on board. Its unique Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) mode ensures full functionality of all comfort devices when the rotors are stopped. Moreover it allows the cabin to be cooled or heated even before passengers get on board.

Exceptional cabin flexibility

The AW169 cabin can be arranged in a variety of luxurious configurations, ranging from a 5 to an 8-seat design. Thanks to excellent soundproofing and entertainment systems, passengers can enjoy a relaxing flight in a bright and extremely comfortable interior. The dual zone air-conditioning system makes it possible to manage the cockpit and cabin temperatures independently.

The glass cockpit combines latest-generation avionics systems with exceptional external visibility, maximising situational awareness and minimising pilot workload during day and night operations, increasing operational safety.

Exceptional cabin flexibility

The largest cabin in its class features accommodation for 2 stretchers, either longitudinally or transversely and space for a full suite of the most advanced life-support equipment. Wide sliding doors allow easy loading/unloading of the patient, the spacious cabin ensures entire access to the patient. In addition to the cabin, a large baggage compartment is available to store additional stretchers and loose equipment.

With its characteristics, the AW169 ensures that air medical professionals can be there when it counts, providing the best care. A Full Ice Protection (FIPS) will allow the AW169 to fly even in icing conditions. The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) ‘mode’ allows the continued operation of the environmental control system, radios and medical devices when the rotors are stopped.

This multi-mission capability is complemented by the possibility to install a full suite of surveillance equipment, managed through a dedicated 2x17” touchscreen mission console.
