Leonardo gains Business Continuity certification

01 December 2020

Business Continuity demonstrates an organisation’s ability to continue delivering products or services at normal levels even following an accident or a critical destabilising event.

Leonardo has obtained ISO 22301 certification relating to its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). It is an important recognition of the company's commitment to this discipline and the ability to govern the continuity of business processes, contributing to the overall organisational resilience.

Every company should develop and equip itself with a BCMS consistent with the characteristics of its business, including specific details of the possible impacts in case of events capable of disrupting business and production activities.

This type of recognition constitutes a significant element of accreditation not only towards Leonardo’s customers and suppliers, but also for all the corporate stakeholders and the ecosystem in which the company operates.

Starting today, the individual business perimeters and the service areas will be able to refer to this certified governance framework in order to launch specific Business Continuity programmes, such as those already completed for the processes and services provided by the Genoa Data Centres and Chieti.
