“My School on the Moon”: on this theme, the Senior classes’ children from Apulia challenged each other in the 1st Italian edition of the Youth Scientific Congress, organised by the Aerospace Technology District (Distretto Tecnologico Spaziale - DTA) in partnership with the Cité de l'Espace of Toulouse. The doors of our site in Grottaglie will open for one of the winning classes.
Earth observation, remote sensing for weather phenomena and ecosystems, communication and navigation, intelligence services, space exploration missions. These are the sectors involved in our space industry offer. This is also thanks to a long and consolidated tradition that started in the '60s.
We are part of Space Alliance thanks to Telespazio (67% Leonardo and 33% Thales) that is responsible for developing and managing ground systems, satellite operations and service, and to Thales Alenia Space (67% Thales and 33% Leonardo) with regard to satellite and orbital structures manufacturing.
We also design and produce a wide range of solutions for Earth observation, planetary exploration, navigation and telecommunications programs, as well as attitude sensors, RF equipment, solar panels, atomic clocks, robotic devices.
Thanks to our proven experience in the space sector, we take part in all the most important space programmes that are promoted by international agencies and institutions such as Galileo, Copernicus, COSMO-SkyMed, ExoMars and Rosetta missions as well as the International Space Station.
