The next generation Unmanned Aircraft System

Governments worldwide recognise the increasing strategic value of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The European MALE RPAS (Medium Altitude Long Endurance, Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) is designed to answer future European requirements. It is a joint programme led by Airbus D&S, Leonardo Aircraft Division and Dassault Aviation backed by the governments of France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

Missions & Features

A new era for UAS

The first UAS of its kind designed to fly in non-segregated airspace, the twin-turboprop MALE RPAS will be capable of performing a range of civil and defence Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions. Equipped with 24/7, all-weather capability, it will be fully interoperable with existing and future defence systems.
