Scalable Defensive Aids solutions provide the capability to discern and suppress encountered threats, whilst the Crew Served Weapons enable the helicopter to provide fire suppression during recovery operations.

Exceptional cabin flexibility

The AW101 can rescue more than 20 survivors in a single mission whilst simultaneously delivering specialised trauma treatment. With a cabin capable of evacuating more than 50 people in one lift, the helicopter is ideal for natural disaster response operations. The rear ramp enables the transportation and rapid deployments of recovery teams or Special Forces vehicles.

Technical data

AW101 Customers will benefit from the Mid-Life Upgrade program that will increase the life of the in-service fleet with the conversion to the latest standard and systems (avionic, mission systems, radars and sensors), ensuring increased capacity and capability whilst improving the fleet’s reliability and availability.
