Leonardo at CCW 2018

Leonardo is taking part in the Critical Communications World (CCW), scheduled for 15-17 May in Berlin.

Now in its 20th edition, the CCW is the major international event for communication professionals. It is an unmissable occasion to meet the leading experts in the communications industry, to share experiences and discuss market and technology evolution trends, and also to approach customer needs in a constantly evolving market.

Having taken part in the event since its first editions, CCW is an opportunity for Leonardo to reconfirm the company’s strong commitment in the industry and to showcase itself as a global provider for security solutions, ranging from communications to infrastructure protection and cyber security.

At CCW, Leonardo will be exhibiting cutting-edge technologies and products for the protection of cities, critical infrastructures, and major international events. Leonardo will be showcasing state-of-the-art products in the field of communications, and much more, at stand C30. Thanks to live demos, visitors can see how the various multi-domain security solutions work (from cyber intelligence to territory security systems) and they can test how interoperability enables prompt and efficient crime fighting. An area dedicated to immersive videos will also be available at the stand, to virtually experience large-scale event protection.

During the event, Leonardo representatives will attend various conferences with sessions focusing on TETRA and on global security solutions.

The winners of the "International Critical Communications Awards (ICCA)" will be announced during the show. Leonardo has been short-listed for the "Best use of critical communications for public safety" award with the "TETRA network for Argentina" project. In 2016, Leonardo won the "Best Innovation Award" with Puma T4-TLE (dual-mode TETRA-LTE enhanced) and in 2014 it was among the final candidates with the "World Cycling Championship 2013” project.
