Spartan, el italiano que mira hacia los cielos chileno

Some Chilean journalists enjoyed a two day media tour at Alenia Aermacchi's production plants

Turin  11 November 2014

Some Chilean journalists enjoyed a two day media tour at Alenia Aermacchi’s production plants in Caselle Torinese and Simulation Centre in Torino Corso Marche to examine the Spartan, as they nicely pointed out by exclaiming: "El italiano que mira hacia los cielos chilenos".
So, Chile and Italy have got closer now and not only because Turin boasts Juventus, Arturo Vidal’s  sanctuary. What his fans in fact not even suspect – as one of the Chilean journalist pointed out – is that Turin hosts another great champion, Alenia Aermacchi, one of the companies the Chilean Army contacted to ask for product information in view of its fleet reorganization.
And the C-27J – as reminded by Fabio Leoni, in charge of Alenia Aermacchi’s Chilean Campaign, is the sole aircraft of the category able to get back from Easter Island easily.

Please find here below the link to a special on Alenia Aermacchi, with a particular focus on the C-27J, the Chilean TV channel MEGA, first private broadcasting in the country, broadcasted a few days ago.
