The purpose of the platform is, in fact, to encourage the sharing of our (technological, scientific and research) know-how with the world of industry and research, to step up the pace of innovation through the transfer of technology between different businesses, with a special focus on medium and small businesses.
Through constant investments in research and development, over time Leonardo has built a portfolio of competencies, skills and innovative solutions in several technological settings, a heritage that is constantly being updated.
The Leonardo Technology Transfer website allows one to browse through specialised sections that present a selection of technological solutions and patents from the Group's portfolio. The english version will be available in a short time.
Leonardo intends to promote—for dual use in markets that are adjacent to its own core business in Aerospace, Defence and Security—a vast range of industrial solutions that are suitable for applications in technological areas and markets different from Leonardo's current business. These include mechatronics, logistics, agrifood, medical and many other sectors.
