Leonardo recently entered a new partnership with Splunk, the US company that created the world's first Data-to-Everything platform, designed to turn data into action. It is a technological solution which uses big data analytics techniques to acquire vast amounts of data from a number of disparate systems. The most significant information is then extracted and compiled, at multiple levels, in relevant cyber security fields.
Through this collaboration, Leonardo further strengthens its capabilities in the field of IT security and enhances its skills in incident management, providing its customers with greater visibility, flexibility and speed in analysing and sharing evidence and results.
The use of machine learning algorithms will also enable Leonardo to further increase its network monitoring capabilities to more effectively detect known and lesser known cyber threats.
The integration between Leonardo and Splunk’s offerings will also allow the creation of a SOAR-as-a-Service (Security Orchestration Automation & Response) solution capable of improving customer response capacity to critical events and cyber attacks.
Leonardo, through its Advanced Managed Security Services and skills integrating security processes and technologies, will offer, together with Splunk, services and solutions with an innovative approach for the data-driven management of cyber security.
