We communicate regularly with companies, political and economic institutions, the scientific community, cultural world and other relevant stakeholders, to understand their own expectations and requests of mutual interest. In this way, we cultivate stable and lasting relationships over time, based on integrity and fairness.

As stated in the Code of Ethics “The Company does not make any direct or indirect contributions whatsoever to political parties, movements, committees and political or trade union organisations, to their representatives and candidates, except as set forth in specific laws”. As of July 31st 2019, Leonardo Spa does not contract or retain services from serving politicians of the current Italian Parliament and/or members of the current Government. 

In 2018, the membership fee to trade associations, industrial and business organizations, technical associations, think tanks totally amounted to around €5 million (approx. €4.8 million in 2017 and approx. €5 million in 2016). Specifically, the three most substantial fees paid in 2018 relate to Confindustria (local and regional associations) for €2.4 million, AIAD (Italian Industry Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security) for €1.1 million and Fondazione Ansaldo for €0.1 million. In 2018, the lobbying contracts accounted for around $1.5 million (approx. $1 million in both 2017 and 2016) for activities in North America.
