The Audio Control Unit (ACU) communications hub is an intelligent interface, supporting coherent communications in land, sea and air environments.
The Enhanced & Encrypted Personal Role Radio (EZPRR) provides AES128 encryption, enabling secure voice and data communications. To meet operational, training and support requirements, the Land and Naval Defence Electronics Division has developed a modular, ruggedised and lightweight Multi-Fill Unit (MFU) capable of filling up to twelve EZPRR radios in a single operation.
The FrontLine Soldier Radio (FSR) provides all-informed encrypted voice communications, together with the communications and computing backbone for Command & Control (C2) systems. The FSR is a next-generation radio which addresses Soldier Programmes across the world. Its focus is to provide efficient and effective communications at Platoon and Section level, giving the soldier enhanced capability, whilst limiting the physical and mental burden.
The Enhanced Personal Role Radio (EZPRR) significantly enhances combat effectiveness by providing all-informed communications to front line soldiers. EZPRR system is easy to use through its simple human-machine interface, is unobtrusive and comfortable to wear, yet is rugged enough to sustain the harshest environments presented by active front line operations.
The CTX is an intelligent interface supporting coherent communications in land, sea and air environments.
ISSAT enables real-time information sharing using networked data applications, which significantly enhance battlefield Situational Awareness (SA), Command & Control (C2) and soldier functionality in the dismounted close combat environment.
Land and Naval Defence Electronics Division has developed a hearing protection system for the DCCU (Dismounted Close Combat User) which benefits from our experience and expertise established over many years of provision, support and development of the PRR (Personal Role Radio) and its associated family of dismounted close combat products.
Today's theatre of war is a dynamic, asymmetric battlespace, with forces on the ground often involved in simultaneous operations and with an increased emphasis on urban warfare. The Land and Naval Defence Electronics Division Personal Role Radio (PRR) significantly enhances combat effectiveness by providing all informed communications to front line soldiers; replacing traditional methods based on hand signals and shouting.
In partnership with fellow Finmeccanica company DRS Technologies Canada, Land and Naval Defence Electronics Division has designed, developed and manufactured the WARRIOR Land Force (WOLF) II integrated Soldier System. It delivers a scalable, fully integrated Soldier System which enables a wide range of supporting electronic assets to be integrated to enhance operational effectiveness.
The TACMIC CT1 is a tactical speaker microphone for use by tactical units to enhance communication performance in conventional and bio-chemical operations.
