Fourth day at the Farnborough International Airshow
On the fourth day of the Farnborough Airshow, Leonardo-Finmeccanica once again had a full schedule of events. Institutional delegations from different countries had the opportunity to admire technological solutions, products and systems for Aeronautics, Space, Defence and Security from close up in Leonardo-Finmeccanica's Pavilion and static area.
Visitors also included representatives from Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation, a delegation from the UK Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (an executive agency sponsored by the UK Ministry of Defence in charge of research and technological innovation projects), representatives from the Spanish Air Force and, last but not least, a delegation of military attachés from diplomatic missions based in London.
Today, the public once again had the chance to admire a flight demonstration of the Eurofighter Typhoon, which at present is the most advanced multirole fighter available on the global market. The Eurofighter has also been the subject matter of commercial agreements that are of great importance to Leonardo-Finmeccanica, such as that with BAE Systems for avionics support to the Royal Air Force's Typhoon fleet.
