Finmeccanica today has finalised its agreement with First Reserve Corporation (First Reserve), a leading international private equity investor specialising in the energy and natural resources sector, for the sale of a 45% stake in Ansaldo Energia (AEN). The terms of the agreement are those previously announced in March 2011.

Finmeccanica has won orders for a combined value of approximately EUR 117 million through its companies AgustaWestland, DRS Technologies, SELEX Communications and Oto Melara.

Shareholders approve 2010 results and dividend. New orders grow 2% versus first quarter 2010, to EUR 3,816 million, with good performance in Energy, Aeronautics and Transport.
Finmeccanica, through its company FATA, has been awarded by ARMCO (Aluminium Rolling Mill Co.) the turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract worth approximately USD 300 million for the aluminium rolling plant that will be located in Sohar, Oman.
