The Fondazione Museo Agusta was established in Cascina Costa di Samarate (Varese) in 2003, thanks to the work of the Leonardo’s Helicopter Division Seniors Workers Group.
We have collected hundreds of memorabilia, documents, photos, drawings, samples, prototypes and reconstructions, in natural or reduced scale of aircraft, helicopters, motorcycles and components that cover almost a century of history of the Italian mechanical and aeronautical industry.
The museum currently covers 700 square metres. Outwards there are the A105 and A109; inside, the prototype of the A103 single-seater helicopter and scale models, plus a number of Agusta MV racing and touring motorcycles.
The Museum itself as a living structure, destined to be continually expanded, fed and updated with the aim of becoming a reference point for the fand of the world of aeronautics.
