Museo del Radar
Opened in 2009 in the Bacoli plant (Naples), the Museum of Radar was created to recover, conserve and pass on the memory of the production history of radar - which began in Italy about sixty years ago and in particular in the current site - through a series of images, documents and products.
In addition to exhibition space, the museum also hosts a vast and varied documentary archive with many historical and modern volumes regarding radar and the technologies related to it.
Inside, there is also a simulation area equipped with three consoles, each of which is configured on a different operating scenario: terrestrial and maritime surveillance and air traffic control.
To visit the museum, booking is required.
